Many of you.....okay, both of you may have noticed that the blog has become a ghost town of late. Not the fun sort of ghost town with haunted tumble weeds and dangerous deserted mine shafts, but the empty kind that just quietly sucks. If I'm completely honest, and I can be because no one is reading, I've misplaced my Halloween Spirit. I haven't lost it, it's just floating about in the ether somewhere near enough to cackle at me in the night, but always just out of reach. I've also misplaced my fifth grade grammar book in case you didn't notice the sloppy punctuation I've been spewing. These abrupt changes in personality are among the many percocets.....perco....perks of having a serious mood disorder(screwy noggin). I make no excuses; I simply want you all(all=X*0) to know that I begin projects and do not finish them. I've always been this way.
All that being said, the big day is looming over us like a giant Ray Harryhausen monster and we cannot merely allow it to pass us by without celebrating the hell out of it, even if it means I have to induce my lovable manic half with an IV of coffee and redbull.
Also, you may have noticed that it's Free Delightfully-Deadly-Download Friday. Did you notice? This week's links(yes linkS) honor the classic radio horror shows that we all wish we were old enough to forget.

......but it wasn't a rock; it was a ROCK LOBSTER!
Hey,
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say thanks for the fun October month. I certainly did check your site everyday - don't stress out that you didn't have something everyday. It was still great!
Spooky Mizu
I found your Halloween Spirit... you left it in the trunk of my car! It's always in the last place you look..
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you are still around at all, but I just wanted you to know that it made me happy to not be alone in the "I have to induce my lovable manic half with an IV of coffee and redbull" camp.
ReplyDeleteWe call it The Jones Curse in our family, and autumn is the worst. Hope you come back this year.
